We anticipate this generation schedule to continue unless we receive significant rainfall from the weather system moving up from the gulf coast later in the week. We continue to receive 12 hrs of daily generation on the Little Red River with generation beginning around mid-morning. This generation schedule is providing excellent wading conditions on the upper sections of the river in the mornings and on the middle and lower sections later in the day. This generation schedule is also providing excellent drift fishing on all sections. For fly fishing, we recommend sowbugs, midges, emergers and streamers. We continue to receive 12 hrs of daily generation on the Little Red River. This generation schedule is providing excellent wading conditions on the upper sections of the river early in the day and on the middle and lower sections later in the day. With the water release of two full units of generation, the river will rise quickly. So if wading, be observant of changing water levels and be aware of your surroundings for your safety. This generation schedule also is providing excellent drift fishing. For fly fishing, we recommend sowbugs, midges, gold ribbed hares ear and streamers. The Little Red continues to receive 12 hrs of daily generation. The generation pattern has changed just a little this week with water release starting midmorning instead of early morning. This pattern is providing excellent wading conditions for a few hours each day and excellent drift fishing from a boat. Currently we are seeing 12 hrs of daily generation. The generation begins early morning which provides some wadeable water downstream for a few hours each day and excellent drift fishing from a boat. Currently the Greers Ferry Lake level is above normal pool. To lower the lake level, we anticipate longer periods of heavy generation to begin soon.
